1. Introduction

Welcome to Catalyst Chemistry! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our online platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the platform. By purchasing or accessing the platform, Textbook, and/or Chemistry Tutoring services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in the platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization.

3. Platform Access and Enrollment

To enroll in the platform, you must create an account with accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Sharing of account information, as outlined in the user conduct policy, is strictly prohibited. The website is equipped to detect such activities, and any violation will result in immediate removal from the platform without a refund.

4. Newsletter "The Morning Mechanism"

By subscribing to The Morning Mechanism newsletter, you agree to our Terms of Service. Intellectual Property: All materials provided through this newsletter, including but not limited to notes, study guides, and tips, are owned by Catalyst Chemistry and are for personal use only. Redistribution, resale, or unauthorized use of these materials is strictly prohibited.

5. Tutoring Services

Tutoring sessions must be canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled session to receive a refund. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session. If no one attends the scheduled Zoom session, the tutor will remain on the call for 15 minutes. After this time, the session will be considered forfeited without a refund. If you arrive late, the session will proceed for the remaining time, and the lost time will not be made up.

6. Payments and Refunds

All payments for platform access, tutoring, and other services must be made in full at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, and no payment information is stored by Catalyst Chemistry. Refunds for platform access are not provided except in cases where the service is unavailable due to technical issues caused by Catalyst Chemistry. Refund requests for tutoring services must adhere to the 48-hour cancellation policy outlined above. All sales of the Textbook are final and non-refundable.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use the platform and associated services in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not:

• Share or redistribute any content provided through the platform.
• Engage in activities that disrupt or interfere with the platform’s functionality.
• Use the platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

Violations of these rules may result in immediate termination of access to the platform and associated services without a refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources provided through the platform, The Morning Mechanism newsletter, and tutoring sessions are the intellectual property of Catalyst Chemistry. This includes but is not limited to video lessons, study guides, practice problems, and lecture notes. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

Catalyst Chemistry is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform, services, or materials. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

10. Changes to Terms

Catalyst Chemistry reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the platform or services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
